Korea Vabariigi saatkond asutati 2024. aasta augustis ja sellest sai 35. residetsaatkond Tallinnas.

Avamise tähistamiseks korraldab saatkond Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia suures saalis klassikalise kontserdi.

 

Eestisse tulevad maailmakuulsad muusikud Korea Riiklikust Kunstiülikoolist (K-ARTS), mis on Korea prestiižseim kunstiülikool.

Embassy of the Republic of Korea was established in August 2024, and became the 35th resident Embassy in Tallinn.

To celebrate inauguration of Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Estonia, the Embassy will host a classical concert in the great hall of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

 

World-renowned musicians from Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS), the most prestigious arts university in Korea, will come to Estonia.

– Jury Member : the Queen Elisabeth, Rubinstein, Leeds, Beethoven, Clara Haskil, Gina Bachauer and Hamamatsu International Piano Competitions
– President of the Korea National University of Arts (8. 2021~)

2) Lee Kangho, Cello
– Yale University, M.M. in Cello Performance
– New England Conservatory DMA in Cello Performance
– Adjudicator, Penderecki International Cello Competition, David Pooper International Cello Competition and Isang Yun Competition

3) Han Kyoungsoung, Soprano
– Korea National University of Arts, Bachelor of Arts
– Karlsruhe University of Music, Diploma and Konzertexamen
– Former adjunct faculty at Korea National University of Arts, University of Seoul and Yonsei University

4) Kim Gyoon, Violin
– Korea National University of Arts
– Advanced Performer Program at the Korea National University of Arts
– Currently active in the TIMF Ensemble, the Ditto Orchestra, the Hwaum Chamber of Orchestra and Quartet_Seoul

5) Chung Kyubin, Piano
– Korea National University of Arts Bachelor Piano
– University of Music and Theater Munich Master Piano, Meisterklasse Piano and Bachelor Conducting

6) Kim Damhyun, Violin
– Korea National University of Arts Prep, Violin

7) Cha Taeguk, Composer
– Currently studying composition at the Korea National University of Arts

8) Bae Dongjin, Composer
– Graduated from Korea National University of Arts and Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt and Freiburg, Germany
– Currently Associate Professor of Composition at Korea National University of Arts
